Classes, talks and workshops
Be it Shakespeare, Blood Brothers or a career path towards the theatre industry, let us talk to you.
Blood Brothers
Having appeared in the production for over 600 performances over three years Nick is an inside industry professional and veteran of the show.
A half-day workshop and talk focuses on genre, storyline, character and social background, with a few inside-secrets along the way.
Shakespeare
For thirty years Nick has appeared in productions of Shakespeare both nationally and internationally.
Our workshops and talks can be tailored to your experience and needs, be it an introduction to Shakespeare, a masterclass in verse-speaking or a detailed look at a specific play.
Acting coaching, and the industry
Nick has appeared in over ninety different plays and productions since leaving Simon Fraser University in Vancouver and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He is also the author of thirty-five new plays to date.
It may be some monologue coaching to help with drama school auditions, confidence building and audition technique or a talk about the theatre industry, casting directors, agents and life as an actor. We can help.
Testimonials
“The Drama Department had the incredible honour of hosting actor and playwright Nick Wilkes for an unforgettable Shakespeare workshop yesterday! Our talented students dove deep into the Bard's world ahead of the ESU Performing Shakespeare Competition.
The energy in the room was electric as students transformed their monologues and duologues under Nick's expert guidance. From text analysis to powerful delivery, every moment was packed with insights that will shine through in the competition.
Special thanks to Nick for an inspiring session that took our Shakespeare game to the next level!”
